How Kbeats Radio uses information when you listen, read, contact us or connect an account to Social Studio.

Who we are
Kbeats Radio operates kbeatsradio.co.uk and K-Beats Social Studio. Contact us about privacy at support@kbeatsradio.co.uk.
Information we use
Newsletter signup supplies your email address and consent to receive our updates. Comments supply the display name, message and publication consent you enter; approved comments are visible beside their article. Support enquiries supply the information you choose to send us.
Our private Admin uses authorised administrators’ email addresses and authentication sessions. Social Studio stores connected Page or channel identifiers, account names, granted permissions, encrypted access credentials, campaign drafts, media, publication records and available aggregate post metrics. Facebook Login is used by administrators to connect the station’s Page.
Articles and calendars use information from published sources, including public artist names, news and explicitly supplied event dates. Social Studio does not collect a directory of followers or use Facebook Login to register public website readers.
Why we use it
We use signup consent to send requested newsletter updates. You can withdraw that consent using an unsubscribe link or by emailing us. We use our legitimate interests in running a secure station website, handling enquiries, moderating discussion and producing editorial content for the associated support, security and editorial records. Those interests include preventing abuse and keeping the Admin restricted to the station’s team.
Administrator account connections let Social Studio prepare and publish authorised station content, monitor its publication status and measure aggregate results. It selects content and prepares drafts; it does not make decisions about people’s employment, credit or other eligibility.
Analytics and browser storage
Our own analytics count pages, broad referral categories and recognised campaign visits in aggregate. They do not create visitor profiles or use analytics tracking cookies. Requests use a server-generated hash for short-term abuse and duplicate controls; the application does not store the raw IP address in its analytics tables.
The player and games may save preferences and progress on your device. Admin sign-in uses protected session cookies. Hosting, radio streaming, advertising and external embeds may process connection details and use their own cookies or storage. Google advertising and loaded YouTube content are governed by those providers’ privacy information. Your browser can clear or restrict cookies and local storage, although that may affect playback, saved progress or sign-in.
Google AdSense advertising and consent
We use Google AdSense for advertising. Google and participating third-party advertising vendors can use cookies or similar technologies to select and measure ads. Advertising cookies can support personalised ads based on earlier visits to this website or other websites. Ad requests can include connection and browser information, such as an IP address and device details.
Where Google's consent message is displayed, you can accept or refuse optional advertising purposes and review the participating ad partners and their privacy information. Your choices affect the advertising that Google can provide. Google may provide contextual or limited ads when personalised advertising is unavailable.
You can also manage Google's personalised advertising through Google's ad settings. Some other advertising vendors offer cookie opt-outs through YourAdChoices. Google's information about data use on partner sites explains its advertising services. Clearing or restricting browser cookies can affect stored choices; a cookie opt-out is not a promise that every advertisement will disappear.
Services and sharing
Vercel hosts the website and its API layer; Supabase provides the database, authentication and private media storage. Brevo handles newsletter contacts and delivery. Radio.co supplies the radio stream and programme information. Google and YouTube provide advertising or embedded media where loaded. GitHub Actions processes authorised rendering jobs. Connected social platforms receive the content and media that administrators authorise for those platforms and provide their available metrics.
When optional AI generation is enabled, ContactBoxTools receives published source facts or creative instructions for selected text and image models. Optional ElevenLabs narration receives the script and approved voice settings. Our generation workflow does not include subscriber lists, reader comments or account credentials in model prompts.
Some providers operate internationally and may process information outside the UK. Contact us for the current providers, processing locations and applicable protection arrangements. Their own privacy notices also describe their services. We do not sell newsletter contacts or private administrator credentials.
How long information is kept
Newsletter records are kept while the subscription is active; limited suppression information may remain to honour an unsubscribe request. Comments are kept while relevant to the article and moderation record, unless removal is appropriate. Support messages are kept for handling the enquiry and any related dispute or record requirement.
Account credentials are kept while the Social Studio connection is active and removed from its credential store when an administrator disconnects it. Campaign and publication records may remain for editorial history, reporting and issue investigation. Expiring sessions, OAuth states and rate-control records have their own validity periods; expiry stops their use and does not itself guarantee immediate removal from every log or backup. Hosting and provider logs or backups follow their respective retention arrangements.
We assess retention against its operational purpose, security needs and applicable record obligations. Contact us if you want a particular record reviewed or removed.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us about access, corrections, erasure, restrictions or portability of your personal information where those rights apply. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, and object to direct marketing at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out on that consent.
Email support@kbeatsradio.co.uk with enough information to identify the relevant record. We may need proportionate confirmation of your identity. Do not email passwords or access tokens. We aim to respond within the applicable statutory period and will explain any permitted extension or information we must retain.
You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. See our data-deletion instructions for connected Meta accounts.
Changes
We update this notice when our services or data use change. The revision date is shown on this page. Contact support if you need an earlier notice or an explanation of a change.
