Stray Kids hold the summit as THIS & THAT reaches an eighth week

Stray Kids' mini album THIS & THAT has topped Billboard's World Albums chart for an eighth non-consecutive week, according to Soompi's report on the ranking for the week ending 24 October. The release also spent a tenth week on the Billboard 200, sitting at No. 35.

The word 'non-consecutive' matters here. It means the album has returned to No. 1 after time away rather than holding the top slot in one unbroken stretch, which points to demand that keeps renewing itself weeks after release day. Pairing that with a tenth week on the Billboard 200 gives a fuller picture: the record is not simply topping a genre-specific list, it is still registering on Billboard's main album ranking at the same time.

Three Stray Kids albums, three separate chart stories

Stray Kids did not appear on the World Albums chart only once this week. KARMA climbed to No. 5 in its 57th week on the ranking, while DO IT re-entered at No. 11, marking its 39th week on the list.

Those numbers describe a catalogue working in parallel with a new release. A 57-week run for KARMA and a 39-week run for DO IT, interrupted and then resumed, suggest that listeners are moving between eras rather than treating the newest mini album as the only entry point. For a group whose release schedule has been dense, that spread is one way to read depth: the chart positions are doing different jobs, one marking fresh activity and the others marking sustained attention.

It also complicates the usual framing of a chart week as a single result. The headline is the No. 1, but the three-album presence is the more distinctive detail, and it is the part that would be hardest for another act to replicate without a comparable back catalogue.

ENHYPEN stay at No. 2 in their eighth week

ENHYPEN's mini album THE SIN : BLISS held steady at No. 2 in its eighth week on the World Albums chart, and maintained its position at No. 122 on the Billboard 200.

Holding rather than climbing is its own kind of result. Eighth-week stability at the runner-up spot means the album has not yet begun the slide that most releases experience once promotion winds down, and the parallel Billboard 200 placing confirms it has not become a purely genre-list story. Taken with Stray Kids at No. 1, the top of the chart has looked settled for several weeks rather than volatile.

CORTIS climb back as BOYNEXTDOOR and &TEAM hold their ground

CORTIS's GREENGREEN climbed back up to No. 3 in its 24th week on the chart, while their debut EP COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES ranked No. 16 in its 58th week. The pairing is striking: a debut release still charting in its 58th week alongside a newer project now back near the top.

That sort of two-album spread is the clearest evidence in this week's list of a group building across releases rather than relying on a single campaign. GREENGREEN moving upward in week 24 suggests something is pulling listeners back to it, though the chart alone cannot tell us whether that is touring, playlist activity or simply repeat listening.

Below them, BOYNEXTDOOR's HOME stayed at No. 4 in its 12th week, and &TEAM's Mark on Me took No. 7 in its fourth week. BOYNEXTDOOR's position is notable for its steadiness at this stage of a release cycle, while &TEAM's fourth-week placing keeps a newer entry inside the top ten at a point when many albums have already slipped.

BTS and NewJeans show what a long chart run looks like

BTS's Map of the Soul: 7 ~The Journey~ rose to No. 9 in its 50th week on the World Albums chart. A rise, rather than a fall, in week 50 is unusual enough to stand out in any chart report, and it places the album comfortably inside the top ten more than a year of chart time after it first appeared.

Further down, NewJeans' Get Up remained unmoving at No. 20 in its 162nd week. That is by a wide margin the longest run on this week's list, and the fact that it held its position rather than drifting indicates a listener base that has become effectively permanent for that record. Chart longevity at this scale is rarely about promotion; it is about a set of songs that keep being returned to.

The rest of the top 25: steady mid-chart activity

ILLIT's MAMIHLAPINATAPAI took No. 10 in its 24th week, while LE SSERAFIM's PUREFLOW ranked No. 14 in its 21st and ATEEZ's GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5 climbed to No. 15 in its 16th. All three are deep into their chart lives and all three either held or improved, which is the pattern that defines this particular week across the ranking.

EVAN (Heeseung)'s DEATH OF ME took No. 17 in its sixth week, aespa's LEMONADE rounded out its 20th week at No. 21, and ALPHA DRIVE ONE's UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST came in at No. 25 in its second week. ALPHA DRIVE ONE's placing is the freshest entry of the group and the one most likely to move sharply in either direction next week; a second-week position inside the top 25 is a starting point, not yet a trend.

The overall shape of the chart is worth noting. Upward moves and holds outnumber slides across the top 25, and even the newest entries are sitting alongside releases that have been on the list for a year or more. That mix of long runners and fresh arrivals is what gives this week its character.

What this week tells us

The practical takeaway is that Billboard's World Albums chart is currently being shaped by catalogue as much as by new releases. Stray Kids hold No. 1 with a mini album while two earlier albums sit at No. 5 and No. 11; CORTIS pair a return to No. 3 with a debut EP in its 58th week; NewJeans are still charting in week 162. Newer entries such as ALPHA DRIVE ONE and &TEAM are arriving into a top ten that is hard to dislodge.

For listeners, that means the ranking is a reasonable place to find records you may have missed the first time round, not just a scoreboard for the past fortnight. The positions are reported by Soompi from Billboard's weekly update, and the week-by-week movements are the story to follow.
