PLEDIS Entertainment
THE STORY
Debuting in January 2024 under PLEDIS Entertainment, TWS (pronounced "twos") arrived as a bright, six-member act consisting of Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, and Kyungmin. Their introduction was framed by the resonant concept of "Twenty Four Seven with Us," promising a constant, comforting presence for their audience. This ethos is musically embodied in their signature "Boyhood Pop" style, a refreshing and earnest sound that captures the heartfelt emotions and vibrant energy of youth. Their debut single "plot twist" and first mini-album *Sparkling Blue* immediately established this identity, offering a narrative of hopeful new beginnings that resonated widely.
On stage, TWS delivers performances characterized by synchronized, fluid choreography and an infectious, genuine camaraderie that makes their storytelling tangible. Their dedicated fandom, known as CLOY, quickly grew around the group's accessible and relatable persona, finding a shared connection in their diary-like lyrics and uplifting melodies. In the K-pop landscape, TWS matters for renewing the classic bright, youthful concept with contemporary sincerity and polish, representing PLEDIS Entertainment's next generation of storytellers. They carve a distinct space not through intensity, but through the authentic and sparkling portrayal of growing up, offering a relatable anchor in the genre's diverse spectrum.
