Her solo launch was a landmark moment, anticipated for years due to her iconic status as TWICE's center and opening vocalist, representing a natural evolution for an artist long seen as a defining face of her generation's K-pop. Musically, she carved a distinct niche with a bright, retro-pop sound infused with disco and funk influences, offering a sophisticated yet playful extension of her group's signature color.
