CIX

C9 Entertainment

Debuting in 2019 under C9 Entertainment, CIX was formed with members showcasing impressive pre-debut pedigrees, including former YG trainees BX and Seunghun, and Yonghee of "Produce 101" fame, alongside Hyunsuk. They immediately carved a distinct niche with their cinematic "Chapter" series, beginning with the dark, narrative-driven concepts of *‘Hello Chapter 1. Hello, Stranger’*. Their musical identity is a compelling blend of sleek, powerful hip-hop and R&B, often underscored by dramatic, storyline-rich lyrics that explore themes of growth, anxiety, and self-discovery. This cohesive vision across albums like *‘Hello Chapter 3. Hello, Strange Time’* and the more recent *‘OK’* series has established them as masterful storytellers within the idol landscape.

On stage, CIX is renowned for their intense, synchronized, and powerfully emotive performances, delivering complex choreography with a sharp precision that amplifies their songs' thematic weight. Their dedicated fandom, FIX, deeply engages with the group's intricate lore, supporting a career marked by consistent musical excellence despite industry challenges. CIX matters in K-pop for their unwavering commitment to high-concept artistry and sonic sophistication, proving that compelling narratives and robust performances can forge a profound connection with audiences. They stand as a group that prioritizes musical and thematic integrity, offering a refined and resonant voice within the boy group spectrum.
